When did you last take some time to stop and think about how you define success and consider your personal success mindset?

One thing I believe truly essential on your success journey is to understand the importance of creating a clear vision.  In fact I’d say this vision is the first step to take.  It’ll help you get clear on what you’re aiming for and support your success mindset at the same time. I want you to think about what the success path may be like and how you’ll achieve the success you deserve if you are not really clear on what success is for you?

Think about what the success path may be like and how you’ll achieve the success you deserve if you are not really clear on what success is for you?

Take some time to answer the following questions which will assist you to get clear on what success is for you…..

  1. What does success mean for you?
  2. What does it look like?
  3. How does success make you feel?
  4. How will you know you have achieved success?
  5. Is success different in your business and personal life or is success in these areas so similar that it might as well be the same?

You might want to get out some paper and a pen and write down your answers

Once you have something written down you should be starting to form a clearer idea of what success looks like to you.  A great way to really get clear on what success looks like is to create a ‘Success Chart’ where you use the same principles

A great way to really get clear on what success looks like is to create a ‘Success Chart’ where you use the same principles behind creating a vision board or book to create a visual representation of success.

All you need is some old magazines or photos, or access to the web to search for images that define success for you and then a big piece of card, scissors and some glue.  Gather together a stack of success images and have fun adding them to the card to create your own ‘Success Chart’

Once you have done this make sure you stick it up somewhere that you can regularly see it and use your chart as a visual reminder of what success is for you!

Happy success charting…. and awesome work taking action to foster a success mindset.
