Pioneer Seeker Thrive Factor Archetype

Welcome to the Law of Effortlessness Podcast with your #businessyoda host, Shannon Bush today joined by two cheeky and pioneering women, Elle Roberts and Ashleigh Rae. In this episode, Shannon Bush speaks with Elle Roberts and Ashleigh about the Pioneer Seeker Thrive Factor Archetype. This lady is the early adopter of new ideas and technology and is constantly innovating. She is also cheeky and playful and others can find it difficult to keep up with her.

Elle starts off the episode with some information about herself and her business, and how its evolved. Elle identifies when she learned about her archetypes and lists them as Mentor Teacher, Inspirer Believer, Liberator Engineer, Shapeshifter Alchemist, and Pioneer Seeker. She shares with us how she felt when she learned what her archetypes were, and how learning them clarified some things about herself.

Elle talks about how difficult it was starting her business as a single mom, and how shy she was about it starting out. She explains how she had to learn the aspects of a business that she didn’t know, and how she reached out to others to join her in her business. Elle shares with us the disadvantages and challenges of being a Pioneer Seeker, and how she wants to learn and try everything. Elle imparts some words of wisdom on us about being a Pioneer Seeker, and how it shapes you.

In part two of this episode, you’ll hear from Ashleigh Rae, her business and how she first came to meet her Pioneer Seeker Archetype in early 2018, along with her other two Thrive Factor Archetypes – the Inspirer Believer and Shape Shifter Alchemist. You’ll hear how at first, Ashleigh didn’t know what to do with the knowledge of her archetypes, and how she didn’t love them or interact with them – and then how she began to embrace them.

She identifies which archetype she has had the most trouble with, and talks about the challenges that each archetype brings into her life. Ashleigh Rae also talks about how her archetypes have helped her, both in her business life and in her personal life. She mentions other personality tests she’s done before, and how she felt like they never really fit her. She identifies the weaknesses of other personality tests and emphasizes how strong the archetype test is and how she uses it to profile her clients.

The episode ends with Ashleigh giving advice for those who share her archetypes, and giving words of encouragement. To hear Ashleigh’s advice, tune in to this episode! And if you’re curious about your archetypes, check out Shannon Bush’s The Thrive Factor Book!

Pearls of Wisdom

“I’m a huge ideas person, and it took me a long time to wrap my head around this. I had to learn it’s OK to embrace and hug the Bright Shiny Objects.” – Ashleigh Rae

“Your archetypes are a filter to guide you in how you want to show up, and what you want to do” – Shannon Bush

“I often feel like how come there are not more people standing right here with me, and learning about that Pioneer Seeker and that adventurous, you know, just keep going doing the next new thing, was like oh, that’s why it feels like there’s no one next to me. It’s not that nobody wants to be my friend, it’s that I’m in this different space” – Elle Roberts

088 | The Network Connector | The Thrive Factor Book Series

Business Marketing Coach Shannon Bush Law of Effortlessness Podcast Jayne Griffiths Network Connector Thrive Factor Book Perth Archetypes

Network Connector with Jayne Griffiths

In this episode, #businessyoda and Amazon-Best-Selling Author Shannon Bush is back and today discussing the Network Connector Thrive Factor Archetype!  Shannon interviews Jayne Griffiths, who identifies as a Network Connector.

Shannon starts off by describing the characteristics of a Network Connector, and gives some advice about traversing this archetype.  Jayne tells us about her business Indigo Shift and explains what she does in her work. Jayne shares how she started working with Shannon and identifies her archetypes as the Inspirer Believer, Mentor Teacher, Advocate Rescuer, Shapeshifter Alchemist, and the Network Connector, as well as some of the challenges she’s faced with them and strengths she has because of them.

Jayne tells us more about her Network Connector, and how she enjoys networking and meeting people. She finds it very easy to connect people with each other; sharing that it seems like a natural thing to her, and describes it as a ‘map in her head’. She does admit, that networking can be tiring sometimes, and that networking connections can at times be shallow. She’s now dedicated herself to smaller networking groups so that she can create long and meaningful relationships.

Shannon gives Jayne and the rest of us some advice about being a Network Connector and assures us that not everyone is an extrovert and that’s okay. Jayne gives us some tasty tidbits of advice to help other Network Connectors through their journey!

Pearls of Wisdom

“A Networker Connector has an incredibly wide and broad and deep network of individuals in her world, both on a personal level and a professional level” – Shannon

“I feel like I almost carry a map around in my head, about everyone I meet and how they would all link to each other, and to me that seems very natural” – Jayne

“Network connectors hover and see, scan the room, to see who’s there, to see who you know, see who you don’t know, see who you think might not know each other, and put all those pieces of the human puzzle together” – Shannon

087 | Mother Nurturer | The Thrive Factor Book Series

The Thrive Factor Book Series Shannon Bush Law of Effortlessness Podcast Mother Nurturer Thrive Factor Archetypes Business Marketing Coach Perth

Mother Nurturer Thrive Factor

Welcome to episode 87 of the Law of Effortlessness, with your Amazon Best Selling Author and #businessyoda Shannon Bush. In this solo episode, Shannon talks to us about the Mother Nurturer Archetype and how the archetype is not necessarily about being a literal mother of children-its about nourishing and nurturing those she considers to be her family. Mother Nurturers love to feed their family and will endeavor to make everyone feel loved and cared for, welcoming people into her fold like they are family.Mother Nurturers, remember though your greatest treasure and lessons are in self-nourishment.

Today Shannon is joined by two guests, Lyn Uniewicz from The Gifting Pot (all about giving!) and Tracy O’Meara Smith a Bowen Therapist from Silverdale.

In the first interview, Lyn shares her business, the Gifting Pot, a boutique gifting business. Sharing how she met Shannon through a friend, and how she did her archetype profile with Shannon. She identifies the four archetype that she identifies with Queen Ruler, Inspirer Believer, Mother Nurturer, and the Mediator Diplomat. Lynn tells us how she felt when she learned about her Mother Nurturer Archetype and identifies the strengths that come with being a Mother Nurturer, as well as some of the challenges.

We’re joined by Bowen Therapist Tracey O’Meara Smith from Silverdale in part two of this episode, who identifies as a Mother Nurturer, Inspirer Believer, Shape Shift Alchemist and Advocate Rescuer. Tracey shares how liberating it was to embrace the wisdom of her Mother Nurturer and allow this side herself to come to the fore. Tracey shares how she fat out rejected the Mother Nurturer initially but came to see the bigger picture and how shehe needed to come into her own authenticity and voice. Shannon asks Tracey how this shows up in her business, and Tracey shares how she had to learn that not everyone is ready for everything you have to give, andthat having a level of detachment from what happens in her therapy room is never about her personally, but about someone else and gives her clients the room to find and spread their own wings.

Pearls of Wisdom

“Mother Nurturers, the greatest gift you can give yourself is to let yourself nurture you”-Shannon

“I used to feel very guilty about looking after myself first and then looking after others”-Lyn

“You realize that even though you have the grander vision, its what you integrate and learn along the way.”-Tracey

“I had to understand my own depths…and accept myself for who I am.”-Tracey“Nothing is better than a Mothers love.”-Tracey

Shannon also asks about the challenges Aesha experiences, including her patience in waiting for an invitation to share her ideas rather than be the first in there and overwhelming her audience. This is exacerbated by the challenge of the Mentor Teacher, who is driven to share all her knowledge but can be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of gained learning and the desire to share great value. Aesha shares how she almost threw away her online business because it felt so hard, but meeting her archetypes supported her to embrace doing business on her own terms, in her own way that worked best for her.

You’ll also hear Aesha talk about how she never considered herself a Teacher, and it took some time for her to embrace the Mentor Teacher part of herself as coming from a deeper place inside herself. As a Mediator Diplomat Thrive Factor Archetype, Aesha also learned what this meant to her: as a balance to her creative flow, embracing and expressing self-care and nourishment of the mind, body and soul.

LOE 082 | The Thrive Factor Book Series with Kerri Duff-Borthen

LOE Podcast The Thrive Factor Book Archetype Series Marketing Business Coach Shannon Bush Effortless Suzzess Zone Kerri Duff-Borthen

Podcast Episode 082 | The Thrive Factor Book Series: Be a Ninja and Love Yourself w/ Kerri Duff-Borthen

Welcome to Episode 082 of the Law of Effortlessness Podcast with your #businessyoda host, Shannon Bush! Today Shannon is joined by Kerri Duff-Borthen from The Shortlister, a recruitment platform for business owners across Australia.

Kerri met her Thrive Factor Archetypes back in 2017, as a Pioneer Seeker, Visionary Creator, Inspirer Believer, Mediator Diplomat, and a sneaky Heroine Adventurer that kept poking and prodding her way to be seen and heard. Kerri spent two years getting to know each one individually and embracing them wholeheartedly. She identifies mostly as the Pioneer Seeker and Inspirer Believer but sees how they each blend together and make up the whole of who she is (see page 205 of The Thrive Factor Book).

Kerri shares how she previously ran a more traditional recruitment agency called Duff Recruitment but found it was ‘eating her soul’ – it was then that she met Shannon and was profiled with her archetypes and began to embrace and utilize her archetypes including the Mediator Diplomat who supported her to create a process that supported both the employer and candidate beautifully through the recruitment process, and using the Visionary Creator and Pioneer Seeker to disrupt the market and pioneer a new way forward in her industry. Embracing these parts of herself had led Kerry to great success including recognition in the form of awards for her work.

But, like all archetypes there are challenges – Kerri shares how she has learned to identify when she’s out of balance, and that her biggest challenge is being hard on herself – and on the flip side, how she brings herself back into alignment when she’s having a ‘dumpy’ day.

Noteable Quotes and Pearls of Wisdom

“It can be really lonely. I tend to be two or three steps ahead of everyone because I can see where people are going and the path they’re taking. I see their potential.” – Kerri

“It can be a really fun, transparent process. It doesn’t have to be gloomy and heavy.” – Kerri

“I can be very hard on myself and quite judgemental, an overthinker and I can be harsh on others. That’s when I know I’m out of balance.” – Kerri

“Many of us are role models now. It can be tough, but often the harshness we feel is self-inflicted.” – Shannon

“Know our archetypes individually. You might identify with one or two more than the others, but get to know them well.” – Kerri

“Figure out what makes yourself shine, and do more of that.” – Kerri

Meet the Liberator Engineer

Watch the Video Series Here

Welcome back to a new episode of the Law of Effortlessness Podcast where right now, we’re celebrating the launch of Amazon Bestseller, The Thrive Factor Book by #businessyoda Shannon Bush! If you’ve been tuning in recently you know we’re getting up close and personal with each of the 12 personal leadership Archetypes for women in business from The Thrive Factor Book and today, we have the pleasure of meeting the Liberator Engineer with guests Helen Hart, Stephanie Powell and Shannon Bush as they share the joys and challenges and strengths this freedom loving archetype presents!

The Liberator Engineer is a lover of engineering systems and processes that result in freedom for herself, her biggest challenge is understanding what freedom means to her in all forms, and when freedom isn’t present she becomes frustrated and can even have something of a volcanic eruption or implosion of anger or illness.

Join Shannon for the inside scoop on the Liberator Engineer from Clinical Hypnotherapist and Neuroscience Researcher Helen Hart. Helen shares when she very first discovered The Thrive Factor Archetypes back in 2013 with the launch of Shannon’s first best selling book and the freedom she found in those pages and understanding that came with it. Helen delights in her love of structure and process which gives her the gift of freedom.

Stay tuned to hear from Associate Lawyer, Stephanie Powell who shares her experience of the Liberator Engineer and how for a long time, she felt like her personality kept contradicting itself but when she met Shannon and learned her Archetypes, she felt a huge shift and as if there was an explanation for who she was. Stephanie shares how she has to rein her Liberator Engineer in from time to time and re-frame her natural impulse for frustration or anger and how she uses her Archetypes in her legal work.

You’ll also hear from the Liberator Engineer #businessyoda herself, Shannon Bush as she shares her experiences of being a structure and freedom-loving Liberator Engineer including how she was surprised to discover this side of herself! Shannon shares how as much as systems create freedom for her, that it’s also very easy for it to be confining and frustrating. You’ll hear Shannon talk about what happens when freedom feels like it’s in short supply – eruptions of anger and frustration, or becoming sick or breakdowns in the carefully engineered systems. You’ll also hear an amazing insight into how the Liberator Engineer bumps up against anything egotistical or ego-driven.
