Earlier this week I had a chance to chat with someone I had never met before and to interview her for an upcoming episode of my podcast radio show. I was most impressed by her passion for letting something bigger than herself drive her business.
Coincidentally (or not) I have since spoken to another couple of guests for the show and they resonated the same thing. You’ve got to know your why and the bigger and better it is and the more it is about helping someone else, the more you’ll feel happy and when you are happy you’ll create more confidence, ease and more success.
So, as I often ask my business coaching clients
“Do you know the why behind what you do every day?”
“Is there a bigger why to your business and your life?”
“On those days when you just don’t feel like you can keep going, do you have something else motivating you, a deeply heartfelt reason for doing what you do?”
On that note I’m off for some more cycling training… part of my bigger why is giving back to girls and young women who would usually be denied an education. In the future I will launch a global program to support young women to empower themselves to support their families so that their children will not be denied the education they may have missed out on. I’m not sure how it will all come together but I’m starting with my Cycle For Girls event in a couple of months.
Until next time, I wish you succulent, effortless success and a whole lot of excitement about your why!
